Weare seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon with strong Trauma and Acute Care Surgery experience to serve as Trauma Medical Director for a Level III Trauma Center in Northern California. This leadership opportunity combines clinical practice with oversight of trauma quality, performance improvement, and program development.
Compensation: $400,000 - $500,000

- Provide physician leadership and oversight for the trauma program.
- Ensure compliance with ACS and applicable California Level III Trauma Center standards.
- Lead trauma quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in trauma committees, peer review, and multidisciplinary conferences.
- Serve asa liaison between the trauma service, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Respondto trauma activations and acute surgical consultations.
- Provide Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patient care, including emergency procedure sand operative cases.
- Participate in inpatient rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Support ongoing trauma program development, quality improvement, and operational initiatives.
- Board Certified in General Surgery required.
- Surgical Critical Care certification preferred, not required.
- Minimum5 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Currentor recent Trauma and Acute Care Surgery experience.
- Experience practicing at a Level I, II, or III Trauma Center.
- Prior trauma leadership experience preferred.
- Current California medical license or eligibility for California licensure.
