This facility operates as part of a large health system and includes a dedicated cancer center providing specialized hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population. The facility maintains a clinical support team that includes registered nurses, advanced practice providers, and attending physicians to support coordinated care delivery. Clinical operations are structured to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care on an ongoing basis.

Springfield, Missouri offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests. The city is home to the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, Fantastic Caverns - the country's only ride-thru cave - and the Discovery Center science museum. The area also holds historical significance as the birthplace of Route 66, with galleries and museums dedicated to the historic highway, as well as additional destinations such as Pythian Castle and Crystal Cave.

Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Springfield, Missouri, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call sharing structured at a 1:5 rotation. Clinical volume consists of approximately 15-18 patients per day, and all clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology, prescriptive authority, and hospital privileges are required;

temporary privileges are expected to be granted in approximately one week.
