Overview
Seeking a full-time BC/BE general cardiologist and/or interventional cardiologist for a health system expanding its Cardiology services and implementing a new Structural Program with Watchman. The candidate should have experience with performing Watchman procedures to help bring the program to completion as it expands in a thriving community. The role offers a supportive culture with skilled support staff.
Responsibilities- Employed opportunity with a strong, independent, non-profit hospital
- Join an established cardiology practice
- Call 1:3
- Support staff includes two interventional cardiologists and two nurse practitioners
- Operate in two identical cath lab suites with Phillips imaging equipment, Xper flex technology, and Xper monitoring
- Work within the EMR systems Meditech Expanse (hospital) and Cerner (clinics)
- Contract length includes base salary guarantee for two years plus RVU-generated bonus and quality incentive bonus
- Negotiable sign-on bonus
- Accrue up to 216 hours of time off
- 40 hours of CME (prorated)
- CME allowance up to $4,000 per year (prorated)
