Willis Knighton Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our dedicated inpatient team at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport, LA. This role delivers comprehensive, high-quality care to patients within a collaborative, physician-led environment.

• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Team Structure:
  Physician rotation model.
• Shifts:
  
  In-house floor management and admissions

• Unit Size: 300-bed dedicated inpatient unit.
• Environment:
  Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.

• Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
• Provide expert consultations for emergency department cases.
• Coordinate care plans with primary care physicians and specialists.
• Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
• Lead resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license.
• Active Federal DEA registration.
