• Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
• Treatment of acute illnesses.
• Treatment of acute injuries.
• Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene.
• Requests necessary tests and follow‑up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks requiring a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
• Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff.
• Ensures proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of E/M coding and HCC coding, meeting company policy and eligibility for productivity/PCN and VBC bonuses.
• Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Licensed in the state of New Jersey.
• Board certified or Board eligible.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics).
• DEA controlled substances registration.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification.
• Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate.
• Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel, and community members.
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries.
• Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Salary range: $225,000-$350,000, based on the level and requirements of the role, and percent of net collections. The range is based on the first year of employment.
