Psychiatry Opportunity in Central California | $390K–$450K+ | J-1 Sponsorship

• I wanted to share an excellent Psychiatry opportunity in Central California that may be of interest. An established and growing private Psychiatry group is seeking a Psychiatrist to join its team and offers flexibility to focus on inpatient Psychiatry or combine inpatient and outpatient practice.

• $390,000 annual base salary
• Typical census of 16–18 patients
• 20-bed inpatient unit
• Monday–Friday, 8:0 AM–5:00 PM
• Morning rounds and treatment team meetings
• Just one weekend per month
• No routine weekend call
• Weekday availability by phone after 5 PM for your patients—no need to return to the hospital
• Treat a diverse patient population including:
• Schizophrenia
• Bipolar disorder
• Depression
• Suicidal patients
• Substance use disorders
• You will be supported by a comprehensive behavioral health team, including case managers, therapists, and other clinical staff
  , allowing you to focus primarily on patient care, rounds, documentation, prescriptions, and treatment planning.
• NP Supervision
• Opportunity to supervise up to 4 NPs
• Primarily collaborative supervision
• Monthly video meeting to address questions
• Available during the week as needed for clinical questions

• Physicians can earn additional compensation through:
• Weekend hospital coverage: $2,000 per weekend
  , including rounds and call
• Optional afternoon outpatient clinic
• New patient visits: $75
• Follow-up visits: $50
• Inpatient + Outpatient Option
• For physicians interested in a combination of inpatient and outpatient Psychiatry:
• $450,000 annual base salary
• Same manageable inpatient patient load
• Outpatient clinic hours from 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
• New patient evaluations:
  40 minutes
• Follow-up appointments:
  20 minutes
• The group is open to General Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry candidates and is committed to continued growth in the community.
