This position is physically located at the Allenby building in Sacramento County and is currently offered with the potential for a hybrid work environment. Consistent with Policy Directive 5338, Telework may be considered with prior approval from management. If approved, incumbent is expected to report to work at the Allenby building at least three times per week, as directed by their supervisor.

Travel throughout California site visits, including overnight travel, to DSH partnered treatment facilities will be required with prior notice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The Medical Staff of Department of State Hospitals - Coalinga requires Staff Psychiatrist candidates meet the Medical Staff criteria for privileging set forth in the facility Bylaws.

This is a Tele-Medicine position. This Staff Psychiatrist will see patients of DSH-Coalinga via Telepresence from DSH Sacramento. You must write Tele-psychiatrist as the position you are applying for on your application. Position will be filled based upon budget approval.

Cut-off-dates are every other Tuesday beginning on October 2, 2026.
