Lead the Future of Mental Health Care:

Neuro Wellness Spa is seeking an exceptional Psychiatrist and clinical leader to serve as Medical Director overseeing two premier outpatient psychiatry clinics. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing psychiatric practice while delivering cutting-edge, evidence-based care alongside a multidisciplinary team. As Medical Director, you will have significant influence over clinical strategy, quality initiatives, provider development, and the continued expansion of innovative treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).This

You will partner closely with executive leadership to shape the future of psychiatric care delivery across Southern California while helping expand access to life-changing treatment for individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and related conditions.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Leadership:

  • Provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for psychiatric services across two outpatient clinics.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and evidence-based treatment.
  • Guide treatment planning and support complex case consultation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to advance clinical strategy and quality outcomes.
  • Support recruitment, mentorship, and retention of high-performing clinical staff.

Physician Practice

  • Maintain an active outpatient practice managing a panel of psychiatric patients.
  • Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning with therapists and clinical teams.
  • Promote measurement-based care and treatment outcomes.

PMHNP Leadership & Supervision:

  • Serve as collaborating and supervising physician for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
  • Provide mentorship, case consultation, chart review, and clinical education.
  • Lead regular clinical meetings, case conferences, and provider development initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency of care and adherence to best practices across provider teams.

Interventional Psychiatry:

  • Provide medical oversight for the TMS program.
  • Ensure appropriate patient selection, treatment planning, and clinical outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of emerging evidence-based psychiatric treatments.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of innovative mental health services.

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of clinical quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and refine clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Support clinical risk management and patient safety programs.

Community Engagement & Thought Leadership:

  • Represent Neuro Wellness Spa within the psychiatric and healthcare community.
  • Participate in professional networking, speaking engagements, educational events, and referral development activities.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and community awareness efforts.
  • Contribute clinical expertise to media opportunities, educational content, and public mental health advocacy initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry.
  • Active California medical license in good standing.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical psychiatric experience.
