Training Manager/Vehicle Operator Instructor
Sky Bridge Tactical is seeking a motivated Training Manager/Vehicle Operator Instructor to manage, direct, execute, and control the cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. The Training Manager shall serve as the primary business liaison with the NET Director who shall coordinate all Contractor activities related to day-to-day operations. Additionally, the Training Manager shall participate with the ACV and AAV Government Manpower, Personnel, and Training Integrated Product Teams (MPT IPTs).
The Training Manager shall conduct and support the conduct of the instructor evaluations to ensure preparedness to instruct assigned lessons.
As an Operator Instructor, the Training Manager shall have the knowledge, skills and attributes to implement and evaluate instruction on the systems, subsystems, equipment controls and routine preventative maintenance functions at the operator level. Additionally, the Training Manager shall be responsible for his or her assigned periods of instruction and other administrative tasks associated with maintenance of the operator curriculum(s).
Vehicle Operator Instructors shall have the knowledge, skills and attributes to implement and evaluate instruction on the systems, subsystems, equipment controls and routine preventative maintenance functions at the operator level. Must be able to review and provide recommended changes to course curricula, lesson plans, student guides, and audio-visual aids in support of lesson material and examinations. They shall deliver instruction incident events identified for the Assault Amphibious Family of Vehicles (FOVs), and the associated training systems.
Additionally, will be responsible to maintain and update their assigned periods of instruction and other administrative tasks associated with maintenance of the operator curriculum.

ResponsibilitiesThe Training Manager’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all contract-related training matters, with authority to manage, direct, and execute all contractor training efforts outlined in the PWS.
- Act as the primary business liaison to the Government NET Director, supporting day-to-day coordination and communication.
- Track and maintain all contractor personnel certifications and qualifications, including employment physicals, swim tests, and underwater egress training.
- Provide written confirmation of instructor readiness and content proficiency no later than 15 calendar days prior to scheduled instruction.
- Participate in Government-led Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and related Training Working Groups as required.
- Conduct and support internal instructor evaluations to ensure lesson preparedness, instructional quality, and compliance with training requirements.
- Collaborate with instructional staff to ensure training delivery aligns with current standards, technical content, and student learning objectives.
- Maintain readiness oversight of training teams and ensure all contract deliverables and milestones are met in accordance with established schedules.
- Must be current USMC Swim Qualification Intermediate, or capable of qualifying as such.
- Must have a current SVET qualification or capable of qualifying in the SVET.
- Experience training service members in a formal military period of instruction/program.
- Strong understanding of training execution, personnel readiness, and courseware delivery within a military or government contracting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government personnel, technical teams, and training staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Prior military experience within the armored vehicle community with an emphasis on 4 years experience in an Assault Amphibian Battalion as an operator, mechanic, or communicator.
