About the Role

The position has two primary responsibilities: developing and overseeing a dynamic noncredit program at GWC and coordinating with the District on grant reporting and requirements. The position is critical for Golden West College to develop the noncredit program and work with instructional areas to determine course offerings and identify faculty. The position manages multiple aspects of the noncredit/AEP and WIOA at Golden West College related to instruction and student services.

The position requires specialized and extensive knowledge in noncredit adult education and Adult Education Program (AEP) grant requirements, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Education (WIOA) grant requirements, grant management, instructional program development and implementation, enrollment management, student services, and ability to collaborate and develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations. This position plays a critical role in fulfilling AEP and WIOA requirements as a District and as part of the Coast Adult Education Consortium.

The position works collaboratively as part of the district-wide AEP and team.

Summary

Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates adult education, noncredit, and related programs that meet program requirements. Establishes program goals along with curriculum and programs to serve targeted adult learner populations by working with a consortium of regional providers of adult education services.
