Position Title Peer Tutors Department Academic Success Center Responsibilities
As a peer tutor, you are a key component to the academic success of your fellow peers. You will receive training on active learning, critical thinking, diversity and many other topics to prepare you to be a successful peer tutor.
Qualifications
Students must be currently enrolled at Jefferson College and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a B or higher in the subject(s) you are tutoring. Students must have completed and submitted an online Jefferson College application to the Human Resources office. Students must be willing to complete the training required for the program.
Hourly Wage Minimum wage for individual tutoring, $12.80 for group tutoring Status Part-time FLSA Non-Exempt Desired Schedule Flexible Total Hours Per Week up to 19 hours Semester Needed Fall, Spring, Summer Location Hillsboro, Arnold Preference No Preference
