State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start July 2026 (Fall Semester) within the Electrical Technology program. This is a full-time, 9-month annual contact, exempt, and benefit-eligible instructor position. Apply today at .
Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications include a minimum of five years of experience in the Electrical (electrician) industry; a bachelor's degree or the willingness to earn one; as well as excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include teaching/training experience and five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: wiring, conduit bending, power distribution, alternative energy systems, the National Electrical Code, blueprint reading, and safety regulations; working knowledge of generators, electrical motors, and/or motor controls.
Job Responsibilities:
This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: wiring, conduit bending, power distribution, alternative energy systems, the National Electrical Code, blueprint reading, and safety regulations; working knowledge of generators, electrical motors, and/or motor controls. Additional duties include student recruitment, advisement, and college service.
