Valley Park Middle School seeks a highly-qualified, student-centered Science Teacher. Valley Park Middle School is committed to challenging students to achieve academic excellence and personal success by providing personalized, high-quality instruction and a challenging, relevant curriculum within a warm, caring, student-centered environment. Science teachers guide students to see the interconnectedness and application of the science topics they study. Our diverse student population requires teachers to differentiate instruction and assess learning using a variety of methods.
A strong foundation in middle school pedagogy is necessary.
Certification:
Valid Missouri teacher certification with required middle school science endorsements (REQUIRED).
Additional middle school certifications in ELA and/or Reading preferred.
