The Ferguson-Florissant School District is a community of families and neighborhoods located in suburban St. Louis, MO. Fully-accredited by the state of Missouri, the district provides an excellent comprehensive educational program for nearly 10,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. The district is comprised of seven primary schools (PreK-2), six elementary schools (3-5), two sixth grade centers, two middle schools (7-8), two high schools and one alternative school as well as a nationally-recognized early education program, the PROBE gifted education program, the award-winning Challenger Learning Center, Little Creek Nature Area, a STEAM middle school and a STEAM high school.

Responsibilities / Role SummaryCoordinator of Data & Assessment provides district wide leadership, coordination, and implementation support for the district’s assessment and student data systems. Serving as the district assessment leader, this position supports administrators and teachers in improving student achievement through effective assessment practices and meaningful use of student performance data. Working under the direction of the appropriate executive director, the Coordinator ensures that assessment programs, reporting systems, and data-use practices are aligned with Board of Education policy, state and federal requirements, and the district’s strategic plan.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Employment Terms- 260-day contract
- Exempt
- Salary and benefits as approved by the Board of Education
- Annual evaluation by the Executive Director of Curriculum and Assessment
- Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, School Administration, Assessment and Evaluation, or a related field required
- Possession of, or eligibility for, educational certification in the State of Missouri
- Classroom teaching and/or school administrative experience preferred
- Experience working with assessment systems, student data, and instructional improvement initiatives preferred
- Knowledge of principles and practices of public school education and assessment
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in data analysis and use of data to drive instruction
- Ability to lead, organize, and plan departmental and district wide initiatives
- Ability to supervise others and develop effective working relationships with staff and community members
- Knowledge and ability to utilize appropriate technology including data platforms, software applications, and presentation tools
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to apply educational theory to practice
- Missouri teaching certification
