Architect of Active Play

Location: Parker Road

Status: 10-Month Academic Calendar Certified Staff Exempt

The Opportunity:

Building the Foundation of Wellness

In Ferguson-Florissant, we believe that a healthy body fuels a healthy mind. We are seeking a high-energy, mobile, and creative Elementary PE Teacher to lead our youngest scholars (PreK–2nd Grade) in the discovery of movement. You aren’t just "running gym class"; you are teaching children how to coordinate their bodies, work as a team, and develop a lifelong love for physical activity.

As a traveling teacher, you bring a fresh burst of energy to each site you visit, ensuring that our "New Chapter" includes a robust focus on physical health for every student, regardless of their building. If you are ready to turn the playground or gym into a laboratory of movement, your next chapter starts here.

Role Summary

The Traveling Elementary PE Teacher is responsible for delivering a developmentally appropriate physical education curriculum across multiple primary school sites. You will focus on fundamental movement skills, rhythmic activities, and social-emotional growth through play. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to different spaces and school cultures while maintaining a consistent, high-quality program for our littlest athletes.
