Preschool Classroom Teacher

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented, motivated person to join our staff as a Preschool Classroom Teacher. The Preschool Classroom Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This position focuses on supporting early childhood development through play-based, hands-on learning experiences that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards
• Foster early literacy, numeracy, and language development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Establish consistent routines and procedures
• Promote positive behavior through proactive classroom management strategies
• Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports exploration and play

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (required)
• Valid teaching certification or can obtain by August 2026 (required)
• Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

• Compassionate and empathetic
• Experience with curriculum planning and assessment
• Classroom management expertise
• Comfort using educational technology
• Collaborative and reflective teaching approach
