Position: EDUCATION PROGRAMS CONSULTANT
Location: California

Job Title: Education Programs Consultant

Department: Education

Salary: $8,237.00 – $10,310.00 per month

Mission Critical Duties
  • Lead and participate in monitoring reviews related to special education statewide, providing direct support to LEAs and assisting them to implement strategies that improve student outcomes.
  • Use internal and external data, educational research, and analytical documents to identify where LEAs struggle with IEP implementation and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Address inquiries via phone and e‑mail regarding special education and support for assigned LEAs.
  • Provide technical assistance and monitoring support to LEAs and the general public related to the provision of special education and related services.
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant experience working within special education or general education settings in California.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or current teaching or administrative credential.
  • At least two years of documented experience in a role that supports special education compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Ten or more years of experience as a teacher or school administrator in California.
  • Experience analyzing educational data to improve outcomes for K‑12 students.
  • Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
  • Experience as a school administrator (preferred but not required).
