Job Description :
This role is essential in enhancing the educational experience of students by conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for students to determine eligibility for special education services.

  • Interpret assessment results to aid in instructional planning and interventions.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.

  • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and external stakeholders to develop strategies for improving student outes.

  • Participate in team meetings, including 504 and IEP meetings, to discuss student progress and make remendations for services and interventions.

  • Stay updated on school psychology best practices and legal requirements.

  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Valid State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.

  • Experience with psycho educational assessments and working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.

  • Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and behavioral intervention strategies.
