St. Charles Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach College Success Seminar for the upcoming semester.
College Success Seminar is a first‑year experience course that introduces students to the college process and resources. The course also teaches strategies critical to student success such as information literacy, time management, and career exploration.
Part‑time appointments are made on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Candidates must have demonstrated success in serving diverse student populations in a secondary or college‑level education setting and be available for in‑person classroom instruction.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience in a secondary or college-level education setting
- Experience operating Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
- Master's degree
- Experience in classroom instruction
