Assistant Professor Finance

Position Overview

The Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Park University invites applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Finance
. This is a tenure‑track position located in Parkville, MO with a preferred start date of August
2026 or January
2027.

• Teach high‑quality face‑to‑face and online finance courses.
• Engage in service and scholarship activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues for program development, assessment, and student advising.
• Serve as the program lead for the finance undergraduate and graduate programs, overseeing adjunct faculty.
• Demonstrate substantial teaching, service, and scholarship excellence; potential consideration for Associate Professor status.

• Ph.D. or D.B.A. with a finance emphasis, or equivalent terminal degree from a regionally accredited university; ABD considered.
• Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness.
• Demonstrated record of quality scholarly activity.
• Related industry or consulting experience.
• Program leadership experience preferred.
