Position: Training Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Leonard Wood

Duties
* Assists in the identifying, quantifying, and justifying of the training resources required to execute the Chemical Corps Unit Training program.
* Serves as action officer responsible for reviewing collective training products developed by T2

COM Service Schools to address Chemical concerns.
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of information pertinent to the decision making process that culminates in the finished training program.
* Input information/data, retrieve, and print reports/manuals using a computer. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment. Qualifications Who May Apply:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Developing group training programs to ensure educational materials meet the specific operational needs of the organization, (2) identifying required training resources, such as equipment and facilities, to support the execution of long-range organizational training strategies, (3) Evaluating instructional products and external educational literature to guarantee accuracy and strict compliance with established agency regulations and policies, and (4) Coordinating with subject matter experts and various departments to align classroom instruction with real-world field operations and deliver technical presentations on training management.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR

Education:

Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
