Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary
The Part-time Instructor, Line Worker is responsible for teaching safe usage of equipment and techniques used in electrical linework.
Minimum Qualifications- Ten years or more experience as an electrical lineworker.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as assigned.
- Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College.
- Treat others respectfully, speak to others courteously and behave in such a way that creates a workplace environment that is marked by trustworthiness, honest but polite communication, and interpersonal interactions that are both personally cordial and professionally appropriate.
- Model an understanding of and commitment to the comprehensive community college philosophy and mission.

- The employee will need to be able to safely operate Bucket, Digger Derick, and other Line Worker Equipment
- The employee must be physically able to do an Aerial Rescue
- Must have moderate sense of smell to determine danger indicators such as smoke.
