JOB PURPOSE

Fusion exists to produce Christlike men and women committed to a lifetime of making disciples for God's glory. The Fusion Training Coordinator contributes to this mission by leading Fusion training elements, cohorts, and interns .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead Training Elements:
Leading training elements include Advocate Training, Training Fridays, Field Personnel Training, Security Training, Transportation Training, First Aid and Survival Training (FAST), international brief and debrief.

- many leaders contributing meaningfully to the training up of Fusion cohorts.

Leading cohorts includes advocate coaching and care, care reports, regular inspections, conflict resolution, and regular gatherings.

Leading interns includes teaching Undergraduate Internship and Making Disciples, developing future advocates, and overseeing intern roles and responsibilities.

- Throughout the year, this role typically will be conducted during business hours at Midwestern: M-F, 8:00am 4:30pm. The normal setting is a professional, office setting.
- There are a handful of weeks and weekends throughout the year that require around-the-clock supervision of Fusions major training events. These events are conducted in wilderness settings, outdoors, heat and cold, and retreat centers. Occasionally, this role will include opportunities for international travel.
- Additionally, this role is highly relational due to the supervision of advocates and interns. It is not uncommon for this role to include phone calls, emails, texts, or personal meetings outside business hours to provide support to these young leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Know the character, knowledge, and skills required for equipping Fusion cohorts.
- Be an avid learner of new skills and information, able to adapt to changes in the field.
- Have a high capacity and flexible attitude toward work volume.
- Take initiative and ownership of large projects.
- Practice effective delegation.
- Able to educate others on the character, knowledge, and skills required for effective deployment.
- Able to communicate expectations for training events to everyone involved.
- Must maintain a consistent presence among the cohort.
- Able to pay attention to details of individuals' lives and have the courage to address concerns.
- Have sincere love and godly affection for Fusion advocates.
- Patiently persevere in maintaining program expectations.
- Possess an understanding of the character, competencies, and convictions required for a qualified advocate.
