Position Title: Teacher - MS Business/Computer
Qualifications: Must hold proper state certification
Reports To: Principal

• Teaches district‑approved curriculum and adheres to adopted Board of Education policies.
• Implements a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
• Diagnoses and evaluates student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
• Monitors student progress and adjusts instruction accordingly.
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required.
• Effectively implements district initiatives.
• Effectively collaborates with department and grade level teachers.

• Abides by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
• Attends meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
• Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
• Remains current on instructional practices in education (e.g., instructional technology).
