JOB DESCRIPTION: Permanent Sub 9 Months

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 60 hours of college credits
• Valid substitute certificate through DESE
• Updated transcript of college credit

TERMS OF

CONTRACT:

9 months, compensation per salary schedule

REPORT TO: Building Principals

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential job skills/knowledge and abilities:

• Become informed and follow all district policies and procedures.
• Implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Provide leadership to his/her students in the learning process.
• Support students with disciplinary issues as directed by building principal.
• Develop effective professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of pertinent data/information.
• Participate in training activities as required by the District in order to maintain professional knowledge related to the position.

EVALUATION: Formative and summative evaluation per board of education policy. Frequency will depend upon length of employment and other factors relating to job performance.
