Intervention Specialist:
Long Term Substitute

• Provide instructional services to IEP-identified students with behavioral and social/emotional needs in cross-categorical resource rooms and/or inclusionary settings.
• Collaborate with other special education personnel as well as classroom teachers.
• Attend IEP, ETR, and other meetings as set by principals and/or Special Services.
• Work with a team of teachers and with extended standards curriculum where students take the alternate assessment when applicable.

• Must hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in Special Education or an appropriate substitute license.
• Must be properly licensed in grade level, subject and student population.

• Term: 8/12/2026 – 9/23/2026 (may be longer in duration).
• Location:
  
  Fairfield Compass Elementary School, Fairfield City School District.
• Applicants offered a teaching position must submit to FBI/BCI criminal background check; failure to pass may preclude employment.
