Louisiana Delta Community College is seeking a creative and effective faculty member to plan, develop, and use effective teaching methods and materials to help students meet course objectives in the discipline of Care and Development of Young Children.
Director of Continuing Education- Provide strategic leadership, fiscal oversight, and operational management for the College’s Continuing Education portfolio
- Align noncredit education with workforce and/or academic pathways
- Expand grant and partnership funding
- Drive performance outcomes related to enrollment, retention, credential attainment, and employment for continuing education students
- Serve as the key architect of seamless transitions from Adult Education into workforce training and/or academic degree programs
- Oversee enrollment processes, student data systems, and performance tracking to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with divisional goals
- Manage student information, monitor key performance indicators, and support program teams in improving enrollment, retention, and completion outcomes
Serve as the primary owner of Salesforce data integrity and performance of all activities related to the adult education student’s life cycle
- Provide leadership and oversight of Adult Education instructional delivery
- Ensure high-quality teaching, accessible programming, and student-centered learning environments
- Supervise instructors, align instructional strategy with student needs
- Ensure Adult Education services are delivered in formats that maximize access, affordability, and successful outcomes
- Support the development of clear pathways into workforce training and continuing education opportunities
- Serve as the College’s authority for web governance, digital accessibility compliance, and strategic management of BRCC’s public-facing website
- Oversee the enterprise CMS, ensure compliance with all state and federal accessibility requirements
- Act as BRCC’s designated Digital Accessibility Coordinator
- Establish standards, reduce institutional risk, and ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience for all audiences
- Conduct college-level courses in the Drafting and Design Technology Associate of Applied Science degree
- Prepare and deliver face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online lectures and labs
- Create a learning environment and assess student learning
- Maintain accurate grade and attendance records
- Maintain individual student progress data and ensure it becomes part of the student’s permanent record
- Adhere to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current in technological or pedagogical advances that promote student learning
