Salary Range: TE308 to TI112 ($50,000 to $125,050)

The classroom teacher role supports the instructional process by supervising students, developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, collaborating with staff, and responding to inquiries about instructional progress.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain leadership, positive relationships, and high expectations for student learning.
• Design instruction (lesson plans, individualized instruction, accommodating diverse learning styles) to engage all students.
• Guide learning with students: mission, goals, strategies, recognition to improve learning.
• Evaluate student and class performance using assessments; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Implement best practices and resources to enhance learning in line with state/district standards.
• Maintain documentation and required reports (student data, certifications) to comply with policies and regulations.
• Manage classroom structure, procedure, behavior expectations, and culture for a safe, orderly environment.
• Model positive professional behaviors, ethics, communication, and respect for diversity.
• Oversee assistant teachers, student teachers, instructional assistants, volunteers, and student workers for efficient classroom structure.
• Participate in meetings (team, building, professional growth, parent conferences) to convey or gather information.
• Respond to emergencies (protocols, suspected abuse, substance abuse) to ensure safety and appropriate action.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree required. Current Louisiana teacher certification.
• Work Environment:

• Technological Abilities:
  Proficient with computer, email, and job-specific software.
• Experience Verification:
