Location: Louisiana
Computer Teacher
Dr. John Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a certified Computer Teacher with a focus on Health Sciences and Design Thinking.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Science, Educational Technology, Engineering, or Health Sciences is required.
- The ability to teach keyboarding, Google Applications, graphic arts and graphic design, knowledge and understanding of Computer Technology careers as part of the program is desirable.
- A strong candidate will develop community partnerships in STEM, create a collaborative and innovative learning environment, have strong leadership skills to run school-based science events and participation in outside competitions, and integrate state science standards in the course.
- Trainings and workshops in the summer may be required.
Position available August 2026.
