Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special Education Teacher
Location: Quincy, California
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Adapt curriculum to meet students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Use varied teaching methods to engage students.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid California Teaching Credential with a Special Education endorsement.
- Experience with students with diverse disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education laws (IDEA).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with assistive technology.
- Familiarity with behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Prior school setting experience.
- Pay ranges from $35-40 hourly based on experience.
