Science Instructor
The Crawford County R-II School District is seeking to hire a Science Instructor at Cuba High School for the 2026-27 School year. To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom. To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students. Facilitates an environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students. Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings. Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed;
serves as a communication link between school and home. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators. Crawford County operates on a 4-day school week. Receive credit for your public education experience on our salary schedule. Teaching Assignment:
High School Science Dual Credit Science through ECC
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a major area of study, Prefer Master's to be eligible to teach dual credit Science. Certification:
Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate w/ Appropriate Secondary Science Endorsement or 9-12 Science. Effective oral and written communication skills
