Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Holy Infant Catholic School is seeking a dedicated Junior Kindergarten Aide to support the Lead Teacher four days per week (Monday–Thursday), full day. This position plays an important role in helping create a warm, structured, and faith-filled environment for young learners.

The Junior Kindergarten Aide assists the Lead Teacher in providing a joyful, developmentally appropriate classroom experience rooted in Catholic values. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about early childhood education. This role supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of 4-year-old children while helping maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment.

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons, centers, and classroom activities.
• Assist with supervising students during classroom work, playtime, rest periods, mealtimes, and transitions.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and faith-centered environment for students.
• Provide individualized attention and reinforcement to students as needed.
• Prepare materials, supplies, and learning centers under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
• Encourage positive behavior, cooperation, and kindness among students.
• Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, following health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate positively and professionally with students, families, and staff.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and training as required.
• Support the mission and values of Holy Infant Catholic School and the Catholic Church.

Experience working with young children in a preschool, classroom, or childcare setting preferred. Warm, patient, and nurturing disposition with a genuine love for young learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow directions, support lesson implementation, and assist with classroom management. Ability to engage in active play, supervise safely, and meet physical needs of a JK classroom (lifting, bending, floor activities).

Four days per week (Monday–Thursday), full day schedule. Follows the school-year calendar. Compensation aligns with school guidelines for aide positions.
