Provide research based instruction to assist student demonstration of success.

• Obtain and maintain MO DESE AEL teacher certification.
• Obtain a minimum of 20 professional development hours each year.
• Complete a two year mentoring program.
• Attend all local and state required workshops/training.
• Provide evidence based instruction that includes, but limited to, individual, group, on-line, peer tutoring and flip classroom.
• Provide student academic counseling.
• Assist students with goal setting.
• Collaborate with state and local entities to achieve student success.
• Recruit students and volunteers.
• Establish local community partnerships to assist with student support.
• Submit accurate monthly reports in a timely manner.
• May be required to serve on local/state Board/Committee.

• Experience
  —teaching experience preferred
• Education
  —Bachelor Degree from accredited four-year institution
• Needed Skills
  —excellent communication skills, good computer/technology skills, organized, multi-tasker, accepting of diversity, ability to maintain student private records, and a life-long learner. Must be able to obtain FBI Fingerprint/Background clearance, ACES, TABE, TABE Class E, MyStar/Banner and other required certification.

Work involves sedentary to light work in office setting and able to lift up to 30 pounds. Employee accommodations for disabilities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum of 9 hours per week Monday through Friday. May include evening hours. Workshop/training may include weekends.

Workshop/training may require travel, which may include overnight travel.
