Part‑time position:
Work hours are 3 hours per day; 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (Wednesday work hours are 2.75 hours per day; 10:00 a.m.
- 12:45 p.m.)

Role OverviewThe School Playground Monitor plays a crucial role in ensuring students are safe and supervised during recess and other outdoor activities. This position involves actively monitoring the playground, mediating conflicts, and promoting positive play behaviors among students.
Primary Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor students during recess and outdoor activities
- Ensure student safety by enforcing playground rules and guidelines
- Mediating conflicts and promoting positive behavior among students
- Respond promptly to any injuries and provide basic first aid assistance
- Communicate with teachers and school administration about any issues or incidents
- Maintain a clean and orderly playground environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children, preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- First Aid and CPR certification, preferred
- Ability to remain vigilant and attentive to student activities
- Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students
