About the roleWe are seeking a Learning Support Officer to provide support to a positive learning environment for students, supporting their learning and wellbeing needs to reach their full potential within St Paul's College.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, or allied health staff to implement individual and group programs to support learning and wellbeing Students outcomes
- Support all programs and school activities including school wide Positive Behaviour Supports and Interventions, excursions, and school community events
- Work effectively with parents, always displaying professional Behaviour with an understanding of the issues affecting parents of a child with a disability
- Actively participate in all college activities including lunch, recess, staff room duty and special events
- Attend to the varying personal and physical needs of students including toileting and meal assistance
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Disability Services or Education Support or equivalent relevant qualifications or experience
- Current Level Two First Aid qualifications.
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Clearance
- Some experience working with children with disabilities
