Position Summary
We are hiring a Talent Development Specialist who will develop, facilitate, and maintain CU SoCal’s team member training programs using a variety of effective training methods.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
* Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
This position is based in Anaheim Hills, CA, with a hybrid‑remote schedule. The minimum on‑site requirement is two days per week.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as a Talent Development Coordinator or similar role.
- 1+ years of experience developing curriculum for other trainers.
- Demonstrated track record of applying a variety of training methods and modalities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Certification from Association for Talent Development or related professional association.
- Proficient in all applicable MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated track record of training experience.
- Demonstrated track record of developing training curriculum.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation, organization, and teaching skills.
- Facilitate and train new and existing team members to enhance their service and operational skills, phone etiquette, sales techniques, account transactions, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures, utilizing a variety of effective training methods and modalities.
- Develop and maintain course content, audio/visual aids, test criteria, handouts, learning aids, training manuals, reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Adhere to established instructional package templates for all learning modalities.
- Adhere to established training and instructional design procedures.
- Adhere to established testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures and tools for development and training programs. Provide feedback on the effectiveness and creativity of training programs, materials, methods, and content.
- Have a complete understanding and active application of the C.A.R.E. 4 Guide expectations and the Brand Communications Standards Accountability Philosophy.
- Be able and available to work a hybrid schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay Scale:
Min. $27.12 / Mid. $34.31 / Max. $40.37 an hour. Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
