Location: Lake County Campus
- Clear Lake, CA

• Develop and deliver instructional lectures for health courses up to 10 hours/week
• Organize and teach all levels of health classes
• Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning
• Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses
• Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester
• Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired

• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students

• Master’s in health science, health education, biology, nursing, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, nutrition or public health
• Or a bachelor’s degree in any of the above and a Master’s in any biological science
• Equivalency applicants must submit a completed Equivalency Application through the YCCD Equivalency Application Process

Part‑time positions less than 0.60 FTE are not entitled to any District paid fringe benefits.
