Responsible for promoting the understanding of and engagement with science through interactions with K-12 educators and university faculty, as well as through the development of instructional materials.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Create science instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and student‑facing materials.
- Collaborate with K-12 educators, informal educators, scientists, and university faculty to create high‑quality, engaging instructional materials.
- Edit materials based on observations, teacher feedback and assessment results.
- Facilitate our efforts to provide WashU partner educators with high‑quality curriculum and materials, professional development and data analysis.
- Facilitate curriculum‑based science professional development sessions to in‑service teachers.
- Collaborate with other ISP instructional specialists and other instructional leaders to create professional development sessions related to best practices in science teaching and learning, and teacher leadership.
- Participate in research and evaluation efforts to inform curriculum development.
- Observe teachers, collect and analyze quantitative data, and contribute to reports on efficacy of curriculum and kit materials for improving student outcomes in science.
- Participate in general ISP activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

12: $58,400.00 – $99,700.00 / annually
