Culver‑Stockton College in Canton, Missouri invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Physics. This is a part‑time position beginning in the fall of 2026. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach coursework in algebra‑based physics. The course contains both lecture and lab components with some flexibility for either complete in‑person sessions or hybrid options. Candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching and providing hands‑on experiences.
Responsibilities:- Design and deliver engaging coursework and incorporate experiential learning opportunities related to the field of physics
- Maintain updated gradebook, attendance and online materials using the College's learning management systems
- Communicate with department chair and student success as needed; assist students with accessing resources related to course needs
- Ensure timely feedback regarding student learning and assignments
- Minimum of a master's degree in physics or related field
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
