Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessionals to join our team in Redding, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students in a supportive, educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the classroom with 7-8 students, all of whom are in special education programs.
- Collaborate with two other aides and one teacher to provide comprehensive support to all students.
- Rotate through various students to provide assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience or background in special education is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach to student support.
Additional Information:
- There is no 1:1 student interaction; you will work with the entire class in a rotating capacity.
- No formal interview required. There will be a quick prescreening process with the hiring manager.
- Hourly pay: $22
