Teacher (High School
- Physical Education) in a correctional facility. Salary range: $6,387.52 - $12,847.82 per month. This position requires a valid teaching credential recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Final filing date: 7/21/2026. Application methods:

Under supervision, incumbents help individuals in state correctional facilities prepare to become productive members of society by teaching physical education and fostering socially constructive attitudes. Responsibilities include supervising student conduct in the classroom and, if needed, assuming general custody in emergencies.
Working ConditionsLocation:
Lancaster, CA (44750 60th Street West, Lancaster ). In-office telework not indicated. Working conditions are within a state correctional facility environment.
- Teacher (High School
- Physical Education) in a Correctional Facility (as defined in the class specification).
- Possess a valid California Teaching Credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- Additional credential requirements may include Single Subject, Multiple Subject, Standard Secondary, or General Secondary credentials as applicable to the subject area.
