Length of Work Day: 5.5 hours

Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 1:45 PM

IA II:
Relevant experience and training necessary. Candidates with experience in working with students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs are preferred. Typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education, and supporting teacher needs.
Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire may be required.
Materials Required / Requirements- [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (testing date April 2005 to current); schedule a testing appointment at Pre-Employment Test
- [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- [C] Official transcripts demonstrating completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
- [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher)
If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, you must have coursework evaluated for equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
