Provides additional support to teachers to help with student needs in a gifted enrichment classroom. Duties may include but are not limited to: teaching mini-lessons, working with small groups or individual students, supporting student behavior, and differentiation support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists teacher in routing classroom operation (i.e., tutoring etc.).
• Prepares planned instructional materials, attendance reports and class reports.
• Supervises students involved in non-classroom activities; recess, lunch etc.
• Implements/follows teachers instructions of classroom procedures; reinforcement, philosophy and consistency.
• Assists with clerical duties; inventory, bulletin boards, collecting money etc.
• Demonstrates an understanding of students' problems & keeps a firm course yet is courteous.
• Performs extra duties as assigned by the administration.
