Full Time Intermediate Substitute Teacher 26/27 Position Summary

The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking a dedicated, full-time substitute teacher. In this role, you will be assigned to an intermediate building (grades 2nd-6th), covering daily vacancies as needed across three buildings. Our substitutes ensure the continuity of education by implementing lesson plans, maintaining effective classroom management, and fostering a safe learning environment directly upholding our district culture of "Everyone Learning Every Day".

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification
• Pass all background checks and screenings

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Missouri teaching certification

Board Policy for Staff Conduct

Building Principal

• Execute lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure students remain on track with curriculum goals.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment; manage student behavior in accordance with school and district policies.
• Monitor students in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and during recess or other scheduled activities.
• Accurately take attendance, record student progress, and provide a detailed summary report for the teacher at the conclusion of the day.
• Demonstrate flexibility by successfully transitioning between different classroom environments, subject matters, grade levels and buildings.
• Adhere to all school and district procedures, including strict confidentiality requirements regarding student information.
• Additional Duties:
  Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Building Principal and other Central Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

• 164 day work agreement
