POSITION SUMMARY:
The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking dedicated, full-time substitute teachers. In this role, you will be assigned to a primary elementary building and will be asked to cover daily vacancies as needed. Our substitutes ensure the continuity of education by implementing lesson plans, maintaining effective classroom management, and fostering a safe learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher directly upholding our district culture of "Everyone Learning Every Day."
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification Pass all background checks and screenings Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher Valid Missouri teaching certification

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure students remain on track with curriculum goals. Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment; manage student behavior in accordance with school and district policies. Monitor students in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and during recess or other scheduled activities. Accurately take attendance, record student progress, and provide a detailed summary report for the teacher at the conclusion of the day.
Successfully transition between different classroom environments, subject matters, and grade levels. Adhere to all school and district procedures, including strict confidentiality requirements regarding student information.
Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Building Principal and other Central Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 164 day work agreement Board approved regular substitute teachers pay rates. Benefits include The board paid health insurance at $8,016. 100% match of the employee's contribution to the Public School Retirement System, up to 6.8% of annual salary. 11 days of Paid Time Off (9 Sick / 2 Personal)
