Registration has opened for the 2026 edition of the Life-Baker Rising Stars Academic Competition, a nationwide scholarship competition for eligible Nigerian pupils and students.

According to Life-Baker Group of Schools shared with , the competition is free to enter and offers school-fee scholarships with a combined value of ₦20 million to successful participants.

The organisers said the competition is open to pupils currently in Basic 6 (Primary
6) who are progressing to JSS1, students in JSS1 or JSS2 moving to JSS2 or JSS3, and students currently in SS1 who will proceed to SS2.

Participants will take a computer-based assessment covering Mathematics, English Language and General Paper.

Life-Baker said applicants may attend any school in Nigeria, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. Parents or guardians are expected to complete the registration on behalf of applicants. The organisers also noted that registration is free but does not automatically guarantee participation or the award of a scholarship.

According to the school, twenty successful participants will receive school-fee scholarships worth a combined ₦20 million. It said the highest-scoring eligible participant in each category may receive full school-fee coverage through graduation, subject to scoring at least 85 per cent, ranking first in the category, completing verification and receiving final approval. The scholarships are redeemable only at Life-Baker Group of Schools, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Registration will close on Thursday, 30 July 2026, while the physical computer-based examination is scheduled for Saturday, 1 August 2026, at Life-Baker College, KM 3, Life-Baker Bus Stop, Ijoko–Agbado Road, Lemode-Ijoko, Ogun State.
