Reading Intervention Paraprofessional
School Year: 2026–2027
Location: Ava Elementary (4-Day School Week)
Description:
The Reading Intervention Paraprofessional supports students through targeted small-group and one-on-one reading instruction under the direction of certified staff. This role focuses on strengthening literacy skills and supporting student achievement.
Qualifications:
- A valid Missouri Substitute Certificate (required)
- Experience working with students preferred
- Knowledge of reading intervention strategies preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Duties:
- Provide reading interventions to students
- Support teachers with instructional activities and progress monitoring
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
