The Associate Director of Clinical Training (ADCT) is an integral member of the Applied Clinical Psychology Doctoral (ACP) Program and works closely with the Program Chair, Division Chair, and Directors of Clinical Training. The ADCT is responsible mainly for students in the distance learning version of the program and collaborates with in‑person sites and faculty to support all ACP students. The position is remote and requires residence in California.

Occasional travel to campus for department meetings, training site visits, and residency weekends (twice a year) is expected.

• Assist students with site selection and review practicum and internship application materials.
• Provide support for students encountering practicum or internship issues.
• Monitor practicum performance, including evaluations, hour logs, and related paperwork.
• Track placement data and advise on remediation planning.
• Communicate with academic faculty about professional development, training concerns, and campus placement processes.
• Participate in department‑level strategic planning and curriculum development for clinical training.
• Teach as assigned by the ACP Division Chair in accordance with faculty workload expectations.
• Build and maintain a network of practicum sites, conduct site visits, and develop new placement opportunities.
• Represent the School at Faculty Council, Applied Clinical Psychology Department meetings, and Directors of Clinical Training meetings.
• Support the Admissions process through presentations and interviews of candidates.
• Assist in the collection and storage of licensure data for the Program Chair and Division Chair.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Program Chair and Division Chair.

• Doctoral‑level, licensed psychologist or ability to obtain licensing within two years of appointment.
• Prior experience supervising and training graduate‑level students.
• Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level.

• Conduct oneself respectfully and ethically.

The base salary for this position is $75,000–$85,000. Additional compensation factors may impact the total package.
