Catholic Religious Education Coordinator
Location:
Whiteman AFB Chapel Type:
Contract | Part-time (up to 20 hrs/week)
- Plan and implement annual RE curriculum and programs
- Oversee sacramental prep, RCIA, catechist training, and seasonal events
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teachers
- Coordinate schedules, registration, and program logistics
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with safety/background requirements
- Prepare communications and reports for chapel leadership
- Collaborate in an interfaith environment and support community engagement
- Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
- Experience in religious education or program coordination
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to meet DoD background check and child safety requirements
Preferred:
Certification in Catechesis or Religious Studies (or willingness to obtain)
