Job Description

Support students in their educational journey while making a meaningful impact as a paraprofessional in a vibrant school setting near Berkeley, CA. Qualifications:

• Background working with children or adolescents in educational or supportive settings
• Familiarity with special education needs or inclusion programs is a plus
• Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and parents
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a collaborative team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or credentials in education highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting materials as needed
• Help foster an inclusive environment where all learners can succeed
• Support classroom management and reinforce behavioral expectations
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, and breaks as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff
